Sometimes having good food is just not enough! When you try a new restaurant it's about the experience and DeBreaux's failed miserably! Heard great things about their food, even saw them on FYI Philly so I had to try. Initially we couldn't find a number for them but that's probably more our fault so we went there to order. The people were pleasant enough, took our order and told us 45 minutes. We drove to Upper Darby to run some errands and got back about 40 minutes. The food wasn't ready they said it was almost done. 30 minutes go by and I inquired. I got a whole lot of attitude. I mean it's not like there's much to do there, the place is about as big as my bathroom. 90 minutes and $40 later (for 2 platters) my food comes out. The food really is good but that and a dollar will get you on the speedline. DeBreaux's has SOOO much potential but unfortunately the experience will prevent me from being a regular! Sorry y'all hire some people to run that place and let the cook do just that!

I literally drove across town to get a platter the food was awesome staff was terrific. Had a little wait however it was definitely worth it. There are no good soul food places where I live. I couldn't finish my platter so much food I will be back. I'm FULL have leftovers for Lunch
